At first we are based in the UNESCO protected town of Ohrid, a town that is best to visit in the winter, far from the summer crowds.

The vicinity of Galicica national park, makes this the perfect spot for our base. Our tour takes us to the area of Korita, around 1400 meters of altitude from where we start our ski touring trip. We ascent to the peak of Magaro 2260 meters, while we have Ohrid lake in our sight for most of the tour, In the last part, Prespa lake appears on the other side.

Our skiing down, will be mostly interupted by the beautifull views of the oldest lake in Europe.

Then we move to the charming little town of Bitola, known as the old capitol of Macedonia. While we enjoy the cultural mix of the orient with the west, we can not but look toward the massive Baba mountain above the city, our ski touring trip starts from the village of Nize pole and takes us to one of the two glacial lakes situated at 2500 meters. From there, if time allows, we can go to the peak Pelister 2601 meters, from where we have multiple choices to ski down.

Our guides have the right to change the program, cancel or choose a different tour due unexpected conditions in order to provide maximum safety for the group.

All participants must be reasonably fit and must have proper ski touring equipment for avalanche rescue: probe, shovel and transceiver. It can be rented by SharOutdoors at additional costs.
